Report of the day
We kicked this day off extra early as we were excited about staying with Karen and Colin Keenan who have been incredibly supportive of this venture.

Dave did a long first section of 29 miles which was largely OK apart from the mapMyRide App crashing several times. Meanwhile Carole went to the hand over point and then set off immediately on her 24 mile section of the day. Dave then got to the car and went to Chatton and waited for Carole who then drove to Berwick while Dave cycled the 18 miles there. A strange 18 miles too with some unmarked cross country sections and a couple of hilly bits.
But Dave arrived at 1pm to find a welcoming committee and Carole drinking a well earned cup of tea.
A shower followed and then we all went into Berwick for a lovely lunch followed by a walk of the Berwick walls. What a lovely town it is. We cannot wait for a return visit.
The afternoon was spend chilling out and Dave was particularly happy to have the company of three lovely dogs.

Bracken, Charlie and Floyd with some fat bloke photobombing.

The one and only home cooked meal of the tour which was lovely followed by our hosts driving us to the gig.
The Damp Knights are an improv troupe and put on a fantastic 2hr plus show of some very silly fun and games. Reminded us very much of The Noise Next Door and we had an amazing time. The boys have been incredibly supportive of the whole venture from early in the year, and we are so grateful to have met them.
They had also done a collection on the first night before we arrived which was a bonus on top of the collection that night. And they had also kindly offered 20% of ticket sales.
We cant wait to see them again, they were wonderfully good.

With our amazing hosts Karen and Colin
